I peruse Juxtapoz.com on quite a regular basis and as you would expect the standard of work, no matter the genre is absolutely amazing...this piece above "Dr Grood" by Veronica Hebardof, found at above mentioned site, is of no exception. Aussie Freshness.....

Got me another plug, much the same as the recent one at Sweet~Station and in terms of quality it's right up there too, but what makes this blog soooo special is that the creative content is 100% from Australia.....or as Daniel Hadiwibawa, the man behind it, would say "total freshness from Aus". So get on over and have a squizz at the freshly squeezed the Grafik Museum.

Oldskool Charm.....

Found a nice antique frame at a garage sale for a coupla bucks and thought it lent itself to our Micheal Hsiung print —"Portrait of Merman and his illegitimate Child?", with it's old-world charm & all (I think Merman's dapper bow-tie & eyeglass are the attributors to that charm!). I cleaned up the frame and along with the print dropped it down to the old chap at the local framing shop. Below is the result, very happy indeed!

Help Get Holli Home.....

Was checking out Fecal Face tonight and came across this sad story about a San Fransico artist named Holli Hawthorne. She recently was involved in a motorcycle accident in India which has left her in a coma. Family and friends are trying to raise US$150,000 to get her back home. Holli was unfortunately uninsured. I know things are pretty tough at the moment and we have had enough troubles in our own backyard with the shocking bushfires etc. But I urge you to donate a few dollars towards her plight, to help bring a fellow artist home.
