Stumbled across this Arcade Fire featuring David Bowie clip today via Monster Children...just gold...and I gotta say I really dig that "no cars" tune too. I think it's time to go to the record store!
"Numero Uno" is a huge scaled No.1 sculpture modeled from the Rosewood font. Made of an oregon frame, a plywood skin and acrylic paints, it measures over 2.0 metres. (approx.5500 points!)
On Wednesday night I took it down the road to the Slam Factory for a photo shoot with a bunch of local skaters. I managed to get a couple of nice pics which I have entered into the Mooks Artspace January theme "numbers". Big up to all skaters who participated...you rip! and also a huge thanks goes out to Richard from Slam Factory.
My submission should be able to be viewed at mooksartspace.com soon. I will keep you posted, but for now checkout some video from the "Numero Uno Session" below....enjoy.
